I’ll be the first to admit I am not the best at doing hair.  I wear it up, I wear it down.  I don’t curl it, I don’t iron it often, and I rarely blow it out (on my own).  Why?  Because I’m lazy.  Taming my wild hair takes too long, and quite frankly my wavy/curly/messy mane never ends up looking like the hair found on a Pretty Little Liar or on a model in a glossy magazine.

That is, until now.  I heard amazing things about the Tyme Iron and it’s ease of use. While I don’t usually believe the “ease of use” line, a dear friend of mine, and hair aficionado, Coral, raved about this iron which both curls and straightens all types of hair.  So, I figured, why not?  I’d try it.

And boy did I.  I started curling, and I haven’t stopped yet!  Check out my results below!

A fine job! Honestly, when I had long hair in college, I didn’t know what the hell to do with it. I thought well. It’s long. Wash it? Once Ashley told me about how much more involved it was, I went back to short for convenience. For now. But as for products…all really. I don’t have anything that works well. If I had to pick something, I like hair products (when I rarely use them) that have a measure of light oil in them. My hair is angry most the time and oil keeps it heavy, which keeps it low to the skull and easy to comb. Fun entry, Shelby. Love the pictures!
